Multiple OS in VPS Servers
Our VPS server plans include three Linux releases which you can pick from for the Operating System of your new web server - Debian, Ubuntu and CentOS. Aside from being 100 % free, the OSs are really stable and safe and the key reason to offer you the 3 of them is to ensure that you'll be able to run any kind of app that you'd like, because different pieces of software could have different requirements for the environment they can be used on. Each one of the three OSs is supported by a vast community of developers who have generated many hundreds of software packages which you can install and use on your VPS. In accordance with the Operating System which you select, you will also be able to choose between three different Control Panels to manage your website hosting content. Needless to say, if you decide that you need a new OS, we could always reinstall the server with it. As an additional upgrade, we also provide weekly updates of the Operating System for optimum stability and security.
Multiple OS in Dedicated Servers
We offer three Operating Systems with our dedicated server solutions - CentOS, Ubuntu and Debian. They're all different Linux distributions and we offer them not only because they're absolutely free and they will not increase the low price of your new server, but also because they are really secure and stable. Each of them is supported by a huge community of web developers, so you will be able to choose from countless software packages that you could install on your server in case the application that you would like to work with has specific requirements. The Operating System will also determine what hosting Control Panel you can use because the Control Panels that we offer are compatible with specific OSs only and because we would like to give you as much flexibility as possible, we offer a couple of OSs and multiple Control Panels. If you get a server with a certain OS, we will change it upon request in the event that it turns out that you need alternative one. We can also keep your OS updated weekly as a part of the optional Managed Services upgrade.
