As the newest of the major search engines, Google continues to draw its share of criticism and controversy. In the last few years, however, it has proven itself more than capable of providing the user with excellent search results while staying within the bounds of the law.
A search engine optimizer (or SEO) or “Search Engine Optimizer” is a company that provides Internet marketing that delivers traffic to the online website through the use of search engine optimization techniques. By using the technical prowess of Google and the advertising power of other Internet companies, Internet marketing specialists are able to deliver effective and targeted Internet marketing to thousands of clients each day.
The Google algorithm makes over 400 changes to the way in which it displays search results on a regular basis. Though the algorithm can make the algorithm change positively or negatively, what’s important is that an optimizer works with the overall purpose of keeping the Google algorithm in tune with the current trends of the Internet and Web traffic.
If the “Google merry-go-round” happens to spin one way for a while, optimizers must move to another website in order to test out a new search engine. New sites, like everyone else, need to know if the new site is going to provide them with any benefit.
The question of whether a new site is going to be a good thing or a bad thing is something that should be decided before the site launches. Only by having an eye on the evolution of the Google algorithm will a website to be able to maintain its standing and make profit.
The Google algorithm is something that people often don’t understand; therefore, they end up going through the whole process blind. While there is a lot of information available on the Internet that will help an optimizer understand the algorithm, the real trick is how to determine when a site will be brought into the light of the Google algorithm.
To determine when a site will be brought into the light of the Google algorithm, an optimizer must remember that the Google algorithm is not something that is easy to read. There are many pages of things that make up the Google algorithm, so it is best to get help if one is not well versed in the algorithm or in the Google algorithms.
One thing that an optimizer should remember is that when a site receives backlinks from sites other than Gmail, it will be considered as if it was the Gmail itself. Therefore, if the optimizer only looks at the emails from Gmail, they are not seeing anything that may indicate if the site will be classified as spam.
Of course, because of the way in which the Gmail’s code has to work together, a site can be classified as spam based upon the way in which the Gmail interface handles incoming mail. Even if a site does not send or receive any email whatsoever, the Google algorithm can still classify it as spam due to how Gmail works with the Gmail Mail API.
What a website is going to do is make sure that it keeps up with the Google algorithm. Not only does the optimizer need to make sure that the site receives a fair amount of traffic and gets good rating on the Google search engine, but the optimizer also needs to make sure that the site does not ever get in the way of Google’s business.
A site that sends spam or tries to drive away customers can be in violation of the guidelines for the Google algorithm. This means that if a site tries to hide its content or sell its users into a free trial before giving them a link to the actual site, that site is considered a site that will be attacked by the Google algorithm.
As soon as the site becomes aware of what they have done, they should remove all links from other sites and ask for permission from the Google team to allow the site to remain open. If they were able to take care of the problem themselves, the site would not be receiving any negative or positive feedback from the Google team and it would not be classified as a spam site.
